User Modeling 2003 will provide some limited travel, housing, and registration support for full-time students attending the conference. If you are interested to receive this support, please, send an informal e-mail to the conference chair (see Contact Info section) indicating your status at the conference and the events you want to attend. Students with accepted contributions have higher chances to get support, however, any full time student is qualified to apply. In addition to your letter, you need to send (by mail of fax) a statement from your department that states either that no financial support is available or that a partial financial support will be provided. Since UM2003 wants to maximize the value of the limited travel support funds, the availability of partial support from your home department (for example, airfare) will increase your chances to get support. All students who will get UM2003 support will need to spend some fraction of their time on-site helping the Organizing Committee as Student Volunteers.
