Education and Preservation
My personal research interests center around three issues in preservation.
The first is continuing research into more effective ways to deal with
the results of disasters on library and archival collections, including
challenges found in developing countries. My second research interest lies
in finding ways to encourage the incorporation of preservation in the management
strategies of all libraries and archives. My third interest is in finding
ways to educate librarians and archivists most effectively about preservation
issues as part of their professional training.
