LIS 2214 Library and Archival Preservation (Summer 2000)

Introduces the preservation and conservation of library and archival collections. Basic foundation in theoretical, managerial, analytical, and practical application of preservation.

LIS 2215 Preservation Management

Methods of integrating and implementing preservation activities and programs in library and archival settings, based on a knowledge of preservation history, operations, and current issues. Understanding the complexities of practical application; combi ning management ideals with less-than-ideal institutional environments. (Prerequisite: LIS 2214)
