Co-Op/Internship Opportunities

FutureLinks
BSIS Undergraduates are encouraged to create and update through profile on the university's employment systems, FutureLinks. FutureLinks is designed to assist students in their search for co-ops, internships and jobs. To access FutureLinks, you must go through your my.pitt.edu portal. Click on "My Communities" then click on "Career Services" and then click on the button for FutureLinks. If you are ever directed to a webpage asking for a User ID and Password for FutureLinks, close that page and return to your portal page. Students with questions about FutureLinks or who have trouble logging-in are encouraged to contact the PRISM officers.
Bloomfield Garfield Corporation (BGC) Internship
BGC is seeking an SIS student to assist with server and network maintenance at its three sites, all close to each other: 1) Maintenance of BGC computer networks at 5321 Penn Avenue, 5149 Penn Avenue, and 113 N. Pacific Avenue. 2) Server maintenance and support relating to a Dell server located at the BGC office at 5149 Penn Avenue office. 3) Filemaker Pro 11 server software support. The BGC presently has a staff person that excels in all these areas of technology; however, an intern is needed to assist as needed. BMW Co-Op
BMW is seeking fall co-op students. There are several different opportunities. The civil and chemical opportunity is for someone interested in environmental engineering. BMW offers a competitive salary and paid housing. They are located in Spartanburg, SC. Interested applicants should click here to apply. Information Technology Co-Op
Lubrizol, located in Wyckliffe, has opening for IT co-ops beginning this fall 2010. The pay is about $18 an hour and there is also $6 an hour to help with housing.
