
In addition to eight books, Dr. Griffiths has authored or co-authored over 200 publications, including 16 chapters in books, 19 refereed journal articles, 48 published proceedings and 84 reviewed technical reports. She has led projects and/or been invited to make presentations in over 30 countries and 33 states on such subjects as managing university and business, promises and lies of the information age, technology in higher education, Y2K, the role of the new information professional and, most recently, appropriate responses of information professionals to terrorism. Issues addressed in recent and forthcoming publications include a history of information retrieval research in the United States from 1950-1975, information science for the new millenium, and why the web is not a library.
