Professional Activities: Bernadette Callery is presently Museum Librarian at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh and is also a doctoral student at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Information Sciences. She was formerly Librarian at the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation and Research Librarian at the New York Botanical Garden where she was project manager for CATALPA, the Garden's OPAC, and created searchable finding guides for a number of non-book collections. Interested in both intellectual and physical preservation of archival materials, while chair of the Oakland Library Consortium's Preservation Working Group she coordinated a major public information event, "Saving your family treasures - a Preservation Fair" this February.

Research Interests: She is particularly interested in collection-based records in transition from paper to electronic formats.
