Riccardo Rizzo graduated in Electronic Engineering in 1990 at the University of Palermo. He has worked at the National Research Council from 1993, and is a staff Researcher at the ICAR (Institute for high performance computer networks). His research interestes are in artificial neural networks and their application to information systems, information

retrieval, and adaptive systems.
